| Sarah, the youngest of four children, was born in London and grew up in Bromley, Kent. As a child, she was passionate about art and all types of dance and she trained seriously in dance until the age of sixteen. After obtaining a degree in Graphic Design from St. Martins College in London, she gained a Masters in illustration from Brighton University. Her drawings have since featured in many children's books, greetings cards and national newspapers and magazines. |

The Bridesmaid's Diary was Sarah's first title for Orchard Books. This novelty book is
perfect for all little girls - especially bridesmaids-to-be! Sophie has so much to do as she

Sarah illustrated The Christmas Mystery by Jostein Gaarder (Orion) and the book cover she illustrated for The Nanny Diaries (Penguin) was recently made into a poster for the Underground. |

Sarah is also the illustrator for the hugely popular series The Tiara Club. The series follows
the girls as they earn Tiara points and learn how to become 'Proper Princesses'. Sarah's delightful
illustrations bring to life the world of the princesses at the Royal Palace Academy for the Preparation
of Perfect Princesses: Silver Towers. Look out for the third series of the Tiara Club coming in 2007,
with new princesses!
