Caroline was born in Surrey and studied illustration at Norwich Art School. After graduating she designed greetings cards for Marks and Spencer before beginning to illustrate children's books. Caroline is now a fulltime illustrator and along with illustrating children's books for several publishers, she works for many greetings card companies. Shimmery Dinkies are a second set of four, shimmery, chunky board books featuring baby's first concepts. These brightly coloured board books have eye-catching foil on every page and strong, sturdy pages - perfect for little hands and inquisitive minds!

Caroline's previous titles in Orchard's Shimmery Dinkies range are Ring Ring!, Chug Chug!, Roar! and Growl!. This first series sold over 100,000 copies and Ring Ring! was nominated for the Sainsbury's Bookstart Award 2002. Caroline works from her home in Croydon.
